AKA-Lade Foundation Scholarship Information

AKA-Lade Foundation, a 501 (C)(3) organization, is dedicated to providing scholarships to students to help them pursue their educational goals. Our chapter's main objective is to support post-secondary education and community initiatives. We are proud to have already awarded numerous scholarships to college students, totaling thousands of dollars in financial assistance. By offering these opportunities, we aim to enable students to access higher education and positively impact their communities.

The AKA-Lade Foundation in partnership with the Lambda Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated will award three scholarships for $2,000 each to outstanding students. These scholarships will be given to deserving students who graduated from high schools in the following areas: Western suburbs of Cook County, DuPage County, Kane County, Kendall County, and Will County.

Application Process

Selection is competitive and based on the student’s academic achievements and personal life goals. All required materials must be submitted by the due date. Incomplete applications are unacceptable and will not be reviewed. All applications will be reviewed for thoroughness and quality. Applicants must reside in Illinois in one of the following areas: Western Suburbs of Cook County, DuPage County, Kane County, Kendall County, and Will County.
